In 2131, the few who survived the climate apocalypse managed to do so by traveling to the last standing city: Zenchō, known by many as District Omen. A city where potable water never stopped flowing as if Mother Earth herself had burnt the entire world and gave humanity one final chance. Controlled by religious extremists called Taiyans and their leader Taiyō, District Omen is the ultimate refuge for any life form.
For ages, Taiyans had been praying to the sun, hoping the world would burn. As the world turned to ashes and their doomsday prophecy appeared to be true, the number of their followers grew.
On the outskirts of Omen, a new district called Meikai was built by refugees. Rich families from Omen would hire refugees from Meikai in exchange for water, which became the highest form of currency and power. A tremendous imbalance between rich and poor threatened humankind yet again.
35 years later, after multiple wars, Omen is currently known as District K. Taiyans now fight under the leadership of an infectious organism called Kannibalen.
General Taiyō is hunting down the last non-believers; most of these atheists live underground in bunkers far away. They are what remain of the past resistance…
